Visitor information centres

The Reefton Visitor and Service Centre is a Buller District Council-operated facility for Reefton residents and visitors alike, offering a range of important services. This facility incorporates a visitor centre, Council services, the Inangahua County Library, Waka Kotahi/New Zealand Transport Agency and NZ Post services.

Opening hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 am – 4.30 pm
• Saturday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (for visitor enquiries and visitor services only)
• Public holidays: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (for visitor enquiries and visitor services only)
• During the summer season, we are open on Sundays from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm for visitor information 

The Department of Conservation operates the Paparoa National Park Visitor Centre in Punakaiki, near the entrance to the famous Pancake Rocks and Blowholes walk.
